About us
HI-TECH CARBON FIBER
We have been producing carbon accessories for motorcycles for over 30 years, especially for Ducati motorcycles. In 1993 we were among the first to produce carbon parts for the Monster M900 and for all Ducati models to follow. Since 1995 we have been producing our historic plug & play tachometer kit for Monster as well as the "EVO2" universal dashboards in production since 1998.
Ours is pure passion for technology and for the design, entirely dedicated to your bike.
TECHNOLOGY AND HISTORY
As can be seen from the company name, our experience is derived from the Aeronautical Composite Materials sector. Coming from Agusta Helicopters (helicopter rotor blades and composite structures), our mentality and quality concept is typical of the aerospace world. We believe that our technological background in addition to years of experience, between production, research and development, is the best guarantee for our customers.

AVIACOMPOSITI has for many years (1993) been involved in the design and production of parts in carbon fiber, Kevlar, glass fiber, both structural and aesthetic. Our skills range from 3D CAD to surface modellers, FEM Analisys, Reverse Enginnering through 3D laser scanning, CNC milling and not least 3D printing. We also produce master models and molds internally.
We collaborate and / or have collaborated in the production, realization of projects and prototypes for:

Among the last major works in the aeronautical and military field we can indicate:
- Design, implementation and development of the “Carbon fiber anticervical support system for helicopter pilots, developed on a research program of the Italian Air Force.

History
The founder of Aviacompositi, Fabio Manieri, began his career at Agusta Helicopters in the experimental composites department dedicated to the EH101 helicopter (now AW101). He later worked in the Industrial Engineering office, where the manufacturing and overhaul directives for composite rotor systems and structural components were drafted for the production and maintenance divisions.
After several years of experience gained in aerospace composite materials — and particularly in carbon fiber — Fabio left the Agusta Helicopters group in 1993 to found, together with a business partner, Aerocompositi. Active until 1997, Aerocompositi established itself as one of the first in Italy to produce carbon‑fiber components for large‑displacement motorcycles, with a strong specialization in Ducati models.
The company quickly stood out for the quality of its products, manufacturing parts for various motorcycles — most notably for the Ducati Monster — supplying hundreds of components to Gio.ca.moto International in Bologna, including fenders, fairings, timing belt covers, and more, many of which later inspired other manufacturers.
By 1995, driven by innovation and by his passion for both aeronautics and electronics, Fabio began developing an LED tachometer for the Ducati Monster, which originally came without one. After months of design and testing, he released an innovative LED tachometer — likely the first of its kind ever produced for motorcycles — which went on to be manufactured in large numbers and is still in production today.
In 1998, following the closure of Aerocompositi, Fabio founded Aviacompositi, a company that has remained at the forefront of carbon fiber motorcycle components, renowned worldwide for quality and design. Aviacompositi also introduced innovative and functional dashboard series such as “EVO2” and “AVIA”, LED shift indicators (also entirely designed and produced in‑house), and the iconic carbon fiber drop‑shaped mirrors — widely imitated but never matched — along with many other refined, aerodynamic, and harmoniously designed carbon components. From 1998 to 2000, Aviacompositi produced numerous parts for Ducati Performance, further confirming its high specialization in the sector.
The most recent history is full of successes both in the defense field (designing, development and realization) and in the motorcycle one, having provided to MV AGUSTA MOTOR HOLDING the fairings in carbon fiber for the F3 “OSCURA” and the F3 “INFERNO”
